BA DE YAH Dancing In September!

Earth, Wind and Fire!

Anyone? …Millennials if you don’t know what I’m talking about, I highly recommend googling them + the blog post title after you read this.

Onto the post!

September always feels like the beginning of the year to me, probably a hang over from school (coupled with the fact I still feel like a teenager).

I decided to start this “year” with a trip home to disconnect from the busy world of Toronto and spend a few weeks making dinners with friends, going for two hour hikes every morning along the oceanside and reflecting on life over the past few months.

Every time I return here it seems to put life in perspective for me. Where I’m at, who I’ve become and where I’m going.

When in Toronto I feel ‘full-tilt’ focussed on achieving the next step in my career allll the time. Being here allows me the space and breath to see my life for what it is RIGHT NOW and appreciate all I have to be grateful for.

I highly recommend, even if its for an hour in your living room, take a moment to step back and look at your past year. You’re not the same person you were last September.

Life is amazing.

Are you ‘inspirational-blog-posted’ out yet? I know, this addition was void of my usual witty repartee, I promise next time I’ll only write about fart jokes to even things out.

Pictures from Vancouver Island, this place fills my heart:

All roads lead here (I took this photo. While driving to the ferry. On a hill that is very steep and unforgiving. Lesson: Ask other people in car to take your photos. *They would rather do that than shriek in terror as you weave all over the steep hill trying to get a good picture)

I’ll just be over here quietly which you take in the AMAZINGNESS of this photo…

Aaaaand NOW google-up ‘September’ by Earth, Wind and Fire.

Trust me on this.
